Engaging

This would be beneficial in engaging the millenials.  What about some older students who are not as versed in technology?  Would we lose them in the classroom/learning experience because they would get caught up in difficulty with navigating the technology?

Hi Lisa,

It is possible to lose some of the learning experience with people who lack tech skills. I mitigate this with the appropriate selection of the online program I use to teach. If it is easy to learn and use, it will be adaptable to all ages. You also have to be deliberate about instructions on how to use and put yourself in their shoes when they start to use the technology (not assume that they are proficient in the system just because they were able to log on).

My experience comes from giving a course that was in-person, online (3 hours), to an approximate 30-65 year age group since 2020.
