Standards is already made and patterned based on the State's requirement for the course. It is a good guide for us to add information what we think is best to have an additional learning for students. Your style of teaching and personal experience in teaching is a big help doing this process of improving the standard. It is an advantage to the student and a good teaching experience for the instructor. As long as the manipulations goes on the same direction as the objectives,it's going to be fine.
