Does it exist a specific number of words we should use for each detail that we assess? I love rubrics. They might be time consuming but they are a great tool. The only major frustration I have had is to explain in few words my expectation in each detail I want to assess. Sometimes I feel I am not reaching out if I don't write a lot. It has been successful though so far; However, just for curiosity and improvement, I would love to hear from other educators and instructors if you have read how many words average we should… >>>

I would like to have some feedback about this question because I would like to hear any other ideas about other type of rubrics that will be successful to do other than the Analytical. I have the tendency to do Analytical rubrics giving detail by detail of what I want to assess. I think is a great way to do them. But I am also open to new ideas. I have made them up, but I also will love to see any other rubric from a dental clinical instructor. So I could see what I could be missing.

Time Management Course was a great course especially for native english speakers and business educators. It was a long reading but definitively gives you an insight of how to cope with stress at work; how to cope with stressfull coworkers; how to deal with yourself as the worst enemy you can have when toxic worry takes power over your automated thoughts; it teaches you how to reverse the negative cycle of toxic worries and stress as well as how to evaluate, plan and remediate your problems; It also teaches you how to deal with the "mind traps" as well as… >>>

I just wanted to recomend you this online course which give you not only ideas for the health classes but also give you the actual new class activities already set  for the Medical Terminology in the way you just have to print them and apply them inmediately; so you do not have to even invenst time doing them.

It will help you for any other health class you teach as well. Even the activities are already set just for Medical Terminology, you could take the amazing different ideas they give and apply them to any health class.

For dental anatomy as well as human anatomy I try to reach all kinds of learners by: 1) I almost never do a Power Point Slide with just typed words; I always add pictures next or below the typing words. Of course, the pictures must be related to the concept presented. In that way I reach the visual. 2) While lecturing, I reach the auditory learners. 3) I encourage students to take notes which will benefit all my students to get a long memory as well as writing will benefit Writer words learners. 3) Right after 10-18 minutes of sliding… >>>

I am so thankful for all the devotional Professional colleagues who put all their efforts in developing these new excited techniques, which I really do like. I am also thankful for the opportunity I have had to do these very informative Maxknowledge online courses. I will implement all of them except the “play Baseball” or Football, because I am not a sporty person and believe it or not, I do not even know how to play them in real. I have not watched one single game of these two in all my life; so I know I won’t be excited… >>>

It was really helpful the comment about Dr Kari James and the Handwriting as a tool we should integrate as part of our instructional planning. I strongly agree that Handwriting helps students to memorize material which absolutely helps the student to really understand the topic as well as  to get  better grades; I have been one of those type of students who really have gotten the benefit from the writing and rewriting of what I want to memorize.

But I  have a concern, which will be the way I could help a student to develop this skill if the handwriting is not good… >>>

I found this course was informative and give me tools to organize even more my lectures. Since my point of view, we can always learn new things regardless of our experience. I really liked the Teaching Strategies.
