I believe the most important driver is product quality/service quality. If this is executed to perfection, the other drivers should fall into place one way or the other. In like manner, i think setting clear goals and then executing and achieving the goals for leadership development should go a long way in creating a successful leadership environment.

@utch44 :Hi William, that's a great point.  Customers these days have so many more options than they did in the past for many products/services and have greater access to information that influences their decisions to purchase.  With these shifts in the customer/business relationships, quality is of the utmost importance.  I'm guessing organizations are realizing this new shift in the relationship which is also why focus on the customer is rated up there as well.  We live in a world where a single tweet can grab a ton of attention and even lead to boycotts or a surge in sales!  Interesting new economy we are in and a very new world for today's and tomorrow's leaders who must think with a global mindset.

Setting goals that are attainable and achievable are the most successful.

I agree with William that product and service quality drive customer satisfaction, and all else should fall into place.  The importance of this cannot be underestimated with social media now being fully integrated into how everyone communicates.  In the past, a poor experience may have word of mouth impact, but now that impact is exponential and can be devasting to a brand.
