The finite amount of time in each day is always a formidable challenge. Setting priorities and remaining focused on achieving those priorities is the key to successful time management. One aspect that seemed to me to be underplayed is that now there needs to be time set aside for monitoring and analyzing the current state of time usage. I too often lose my focus and get distracted by non-essential activities.

I feel unqualified to be writing a blog but it is part of an assignment so I'm doing what I have to do. There are SO many people out there that know WAY more than I do, but I will float one idea out there.

One important skill in being successful in teaching math is to break the skills down into very small sub-parts so that any student who makes an effort should achieve success at that part. Reward them emphatically before going on to the next sub-skill. Sucess breeds success. Make sure they have sucess early and often. It will snowball… >>>

I believe the most important driver is product quality/service quality. If this is executed to perfection, the other drivers should fall into place one way or the other. In like manner, i think setting clear goals and then executing and achieving the goals for leadership development should go a long way in creating a successful leadership environment.
