Best Practice, Actions Plans and successes and challenges

One of my best practices as an educator is to provide a more collaborative classroom where students are the center and involved in their learning environment.

1. Place student in PODS or a group setting and allow them to collaborate with other students for feedback. I have also given students a group project or assessment where they are all involved in the course material.

I think collaborative learning is also important for socialization, or perhaps just being in range of another person. Shy, quiet students may still shrink back in a group and not share as much, I hope they are getting some form of relevant information from doing this.
