Rarely do I get burnt out in my current job but in my past jobs I have experienced burnout several times. This was caused by working so many extra hours due to the large workload. Having to get a high dollar job done to make payroll, pay taxes, ect. Overtime is where the money is at. I have 3 daughters (all grown up now with families of there own) and raising 3 children is not cheap. I took the extra hours to pay for the added expenses. I missed more games and recitals than i would have liked. You can't get that time back. I got out of the burnout stages by replacing the overtime hours that were taking away from family time and my hobbies to create a balance.
