After giving my first online test to students of Public Speaking, I found that only two of my 14 students got 100. I did not question them as to whether they cheated or not. One student got 60 and two got 70. I am sure they did not cheat. The ones that got 85, 90, and 95 probably did not cheat either. Since ethics is part of what I teach in this course, I believe my students can be trusted. If they do cheat, there are two outcomes. 1) They are only cheating themselves. 2) They learned the correct answers.
