The resource was a quick and easy way to get back on track. As a manager, I get very busy and forget to make sure I'm communicating in the most effective way. A nice resource to keep hold to. 

The Importance of communication

Our body language and the way we communicate defines the reception of our students.  Love that the simpler the presentation the easier for the student to follow or be able to comprehend the information being provided.  The visual aids have often been a factor for me because i would get to in depth so understanding the using less complex charts and drawings is better for retention.

Communication is important...

The tutorial taught me some new things and reminded me of some things I was already familiar with. Mainly what stuck out to me the most is, the distortion and destruction that can happen when a business have poor/ineffective communication between the employers and employees, employees and employes and even at home with family. Make sure communication is clear so that everyone can be on the same page of understanding. I do think this is important key to healthier relationships and then better success. Great topic to think about! Next time I will communicate with somebody, I will use the effective practices in order to develop them. I'm sure the conversetion will be more effective and agreeable this way!

Comunication is the key

This short tutorial made me think again of how important is the way you communicate things, especially if it's related to a certain organization where individuals must act as a united force in pursuing company's goals. This lesseons taught me the important differences between oral and written comunication, based on specific situations and most importantly, ho w to choose which is the best for a certain purpose. Thank you!

What I learned from this course and what my future goals are.

Wow.  I'm glad I took this course.  I dreaded it because of time constraints; however, it actually highlighted many of the difficulties I've experienced since becoming an instructor 9 months ago.  I feel that I have a better grasp on what it means to be "an effective instructor" and I very much needed the pointers on how to handle the different types of personalities each student has.  My goal at this time is to first and foremost look at my behavior and actions when I sense a problem arising with a student.  I really never did that before.  Or maybe… >>>

I have learned that using different communication methods are effective, because of different learning styles.  Also, it is good to tailor your communication to the individual situation that will provide the greatest impact or impression.
