I learned that launching a CTE program takes coordination among teachers, counselors, employers and support staff. Equipment and curriculum matter, but so do staff training, clear communication and ongoing funding.
I plan to apply this in my cybersecurity classes by checking that resources support learning and certification goals, building employer partnerships and seeking training opportunities. I will also use student and partner feedback to improve the program over time.
