I hadn't considered using a safety plan itself as the basis for an initial facility inspection. Walking through the space with the plan in hand seems like a practical way to identify gaps between written procedures and actual conditions.

I would like to apply this approach when reviewing our CTE labs, particularly following equipment changes or renovations. It also creates an opportunity to clarify who is responsible for addressing identified concerns, updating procedures, and documenting follow-up.
