Are advisers services also available for instructors in online programs?
Online Program Directors are there for instructors who teach in their programs. Each director will let the instructor/instructors know of any change in methods of teaching the course, any changes in the syllabi format,changes in the rules concerning grading, etc.

What we're looking for here is assistance in a manner that enhances the effectiveness of instruction. What you described is more procedural. One of the most important aspects of support is helping online faculty become effectively oriented to the online instructional environment and then continuing to assist them to improve. Just using the example of pedagogy, what works in a face-to-face classroom does not work as well online. Support personnel have to be fully aware of the needs of online faculty and skilled in helping them adjust to the online environment.
