Group orientation

Group orientation is not always the best choice, especially when you hire instructors for different programs.

Gheorghe,

There are some things that are universal and work in a group. The group sessions can build a sense of team between departments. Smaller sessions for program-specific issues are also needed.

Jeffrey Schillinger

I agree with both.
For information that pertains to all new hires I believe the group sessions works great. Then break out groups or break out individual orientation can be a part of it. I like group orientations because it helps build working relationships with new hires. They form bonds with each other and support each other in the new environment.
