Activity
i think a lesson on just what a soft skill is needs to be taught in the classroom. Several of my students believe that having excellent clinical skills will make them a valuable employee. But it is so much more then that. I can teach them clinical skills but soft skills comes from maturity and an awarness of the benefit of acuiring them.

I agree, several things presented in this course was new to me. I am looking forward to incorporating the course material into my everyday interactions with my students.

I agree that orientation is very important. But having faculty and students follow what was communicated in orietnation is just as important. For ex. In orientation dress code is introduced and discussed thoroughtly. Piercings, white shoes, a clean and pressed uniform and all tatoos covered are just part of our dress code. Many times the student arrives on the first day of class violating the dress code. Now it is the faculty member who must enforce the dress code requiremetns. If they do not students who do follow rules become disenchanted with the rules and discontent and disrespect to school… >>>
I found this course very helpful bringing to my attention the importance of setting up daily task. The catagorizing system A, B, C method was one Ihave not seen before. I am excited about implementing these tips into my daily routine.

Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals.
