Yes, Andrea. How do you think this has changed teaching and how do you think teaching still needs to change to accomodate this level of connectivity?
Great points, Andrea. I know what you mean about focusing on each student individually. How can the use of the technology help develop individual learning paths for your students? I'm thinking about the social networking tools specifically.

Great points, Jamie. Additionally, the Internet provides an opportunity for individual publication and participation in communities and knowledge building sources like never before. These all have incredible implications for teaching and learning. How have you maximized the potential of the Internet in your own teaching?
Do you think students today are really more social or just more connected than previous generations, Jamie?
So would you say that this is a challenge for teachers, Stephanie? How can teachers better prepare the kind of assessments required?

Great points about note taking, Carlos. How do you set up this kind of learning with your students?

So Ben, you have raised a few important points here - peer tutoring / self publication / reinforcement of content / real world application / new knowledge development. Which specifically can be supported by the use of Wikis and Blogs and what other technology can you use with students to provide some of these learning opportunities?
Good points, Ben. So, what are your thoughts on "new literacy" skills that students can develop using new technology? That is, digital literacy...can you think of ways to encourage literacy skills in students using new technology?
So, Larry, there is an important point here...students are to learn but also to be prepared for a professional work environment. I agree with you that issues of respect and appropriateness should be addressed in the classroom and students given guidance as to what is the best performance standards. Would you agree, however, that there are other times of self study, group work, or project work during which time full access to mobile technology would be helpful?
Can you be more specific, Melissa about how you see new technology maximizing student learning styles? Are you referring to the diversity of approaches or the technology itself?
