Howard, could you clarify your meaning? I'm not sure what you are saying that affects the learning process for your students...

What do you anticipate, Thomas, with the laptops? How do you think they might change things? How are you preparing for that?
...while building on what they already know, Thomas, and helping students self-direct their learning process.

Is there a way you can try it out on an interactive board, Andre? It would be interesting to see how much your work with students would be enhanced with the technology.
Good points, Walter. In addition, users of new technology in the learning process are developing skills of self-directed learning, innovation, networking, and application. We still value and reward the task result rather than the process to accomplish.
Walter, the process of learning is meaningful and should be evaluated because that is what teachers must focus on in their support and facilitation. The outcome is the goal, however, the process of learning is what students have for life.
Great observations, Andre.

Randolph, what are some specifics that you would want to achieve by using laptops?
Good application, Faysha.

Good ideas, Salena. Again, the importance is in using the tool that best meets the learning outcomes of the course.
