Everything makes a different. Be strategic and be effective with everything you do.

This will definitely happen at some point. Ask yourself why, restate selling points, and make it convenient for them to reset appointment.

Practice makes you better and preparation is key.

I really think one of the concepts that should be at the top of the list is, ability to listen. It directs your response but more importantly let's the caller know that you are actively listening.

In my opinion, the best skill in can have for every situation is being a good listener. Then building a rapport with the students to gain trust and understanding. I want the student to trust that I am assisting them in making a well informed decision. Lastly, we must be able provide the style that the student actually needs once we build a rapport and understanding of their goals.

One of the main aspects is ROI which can be achieved through internsips and co desiging of curriculum.

My takeaways are enageing the employer by hosting luncheon and or breakfast and have them acknowledged for time and input they provide. Remember that every process should be about what is in for the employer? Ask for their feedback, gain their trust, understand their needs and collaborate.

Lots to take in, marketing, branding, voice, personality, search engine optimization, etc. Lastly, how social meida has taken the stage by storm by being the primary use of communication.

We discovered various ways to enage an employer that would benefit both parties; identifying skills, mock interviewing, guest speakers, and curriculum development with that employer in mind. The level of interaction proves positive for everyone with the utlimate goal of building a partnership to benefit the career seeker.

Students should publish skills they want to demonstrate, think about what they are postings, follow up on information, and always seek improving upon submissions.
