Reflections help students understand what they learned, how they learned it, how they problem solved, and what their processes were. 

I learned that there are several myths about the flipped classroom, including preparation time, teacher compatibility, and student acceptance. If the instructor spends the time using the flipped classroom correctly, the students will benefit. 

There are many different types of learning techniques including PBL, GBL, and IBL that can be beneficial in the flipped classroom. This will help students achieve their goals by identifying what they need to learn and how best to achieve that. 

I have applied some of these techniques to my classroom, but was unable to fully flip due to students not having consistent computer and internet access at home. If that were available, I would enjoy utilizing the flipped classroom, because I think it would be very beneficial for students and teachers. 

Teachers should use classroom management practices such as giving behavioral expectations and confronting behavioral problems immediately. 

There are various management styles that give class expectations to the students. Upon self-reflection, I tend to use the Guide style, and add aspects of the controller style, depending on the behavior of the classroom. I also include aspects of the buddy style, to achieve rapport with my students. 

Taking the time to take care of yourself, whether through getting enough sleep, exercise, proper nutrition, or other ways, will decrease the amount of burnout that you encounter, and can help productivity and quality of life in general. 

Reach out and offer support to a person in crisis, and do what you can to help. But always contact a professional if you feel as though you are not able to handle yours or another person's crisis. 

Storytelling helps the students become more engaged and relate to the topic, which helps their learning. 

Being cautious about when and how you use humor in storytelling can help include your audience and incite their emotions without unnecessarily disclosing too much personal information about yourself.
