I had to struggle with the first and second mods.  Although this was the last it did the most for me ... at 75 it is believed you can't teach and old dog new tricks... I learned several suggestions the will help me correct some behaviors and challanges in my classes... thank you.

I spent well over 20 hours on this course as I printed this out the course and read it every day for over a week.  I did gain afew new hints but most of this was old material for me...  I will use some of the suggestions on writing objectives in the future. .

I have had a lot of experience as a public speaker.I find I must communicate differently as a teacher. One form is straight direction. and the other as "teacher" involves knowing the whole student including learning styles personal styles and languages. I teach in a multilingual school and a word in English may not carry the same meaning in their language. what are you thoughts on this problem?
I teach in an LVN nursing theory and skills lab combined. my biggest problem are students who have had some skills lab background as CNA and think they know it all they are more hindrance than help and lead some virgin students down the wrong path way. any suggestions
This is a common problem in my location. many differen cultures with strong beliefs about women as there teachers. I can use suggestions regarding how to manange some of these problems
The saying a spoon full of honey makes the medicine go down is very discriptive for useing a positive statement to open a coaching tecq. positive reinforcement makes it a little eaiser to digest the more negative words the coachee may hear. if positive statements start the conversation then it can sometimes lessen the more negative words opening the coachee to hearing constructivbe critizsm.
I use lemon oil to decrease stree. I submitted a very long explanation of this topice and it was not posted. thank you

Retention is a large part of my teaching experience... if I can not retain my students something must be wrong with my style... My track record is good my retention is at 97 precent for the year.... I achieve this by a teaching style of the story teller, bring vast personal knowledge to real situations and keep the students excited and asking for another "nancy" stroy... I feel blessed that I have had such a good response to my style and tech.  if it were different I would need to change it...

I try to get a test back to the student asap. the longer the delay the greater the increase in anxiety and there is a decrease in learning until they know where they stand..
if grades are delayed then the students are not present in mind to absorbe the new teaching material ... I find getting the material back before the 2nd break to be ideal... the students know unless an earthquake happens they will have feed back to be discussed in private after class..
