About me

Activity

I really enjoyed ED 102, I learned some very interesting points on refocusing.  I will incorporate some of the information I learned in my class lecures, and what really stuck out to me is the part in the section about "helping a student recapture their commitment to their learning."

ED 112 was a very informative chapter.  I learned new and different ways to incorporate "motivation in the classroom.   I currently use some of the topics discussed, but I will use the types as well as the main issues discussed in the chapter.  THIS WAS A GOOD CHAPTER.

ED 106 made me realize that just because they are adult learners they still may be in the process of learning how to read instead of reading for instruction or reading to learn, because of their past experiences, we so quickly jump to the conclusion that they have the necessary skills to be successful in the college environment, when they need detailed instructions also.  I sometimes may be a micorowave instructor, when instead I need to pre-heat, and bake at the desired temperature and at the required time necessary to make sure all students acheive their educational goals, and be… >>>

This was a very informative session.  I learned a lot of valuable information that will help me now and in the near future.  It is good to know that my school provides me with great training opportunities.
