guidelines from the student’s perspective and the guidelines for a succussful online instructor is what i took away from this module. 

There are many tools as a instructor, I can use to help enhance my students online experience. Social media is one of the platforms my students can use, with clear and concise rules, to help them learn the subject matter, online. 

Communication must be all-encompassing. The communication must include explaining course outcomes/objectives, expectations, and assignments/projects, and must be compassionate....to me that is what a great instructor must have, to help each student succeed. As different styles of teaching, so comes the different style of students ability to learn. 

Organization and attention to detail are essential skills for the online instructor. Each student should have a online questionare to help access there strengths and weakness for a online course. I learned that it is important to help the students stay engaged, as students tend to drop from online classes, because they want the feeling of connected (community) for encouragement. 

I have leanred that a Value-added assessment, has several benefits and offers other methods of keeping track of student scores:

Focus, Fair comparison , Accountability ,Diagnostic.

objective information is fact based and subjective is based on personal opinions, points of view. i appreciate that i can view a students progress in many different ways. 

I learned alot from this module. The types of assessments, I am now going to include them into my online learning. I like the idea of using assessments with the students, to gain there ideas and to enhance there learning experience, online. 

Track Changes is a new way for me to track my students assignments. I also learned that its very important to make sure the onilne class is easy and simple in words, to lesson the confusion, that the student would be able to challenge in class, in person

having good and open communication, along with a rubric system, is a way to help a instructor succeed online

i feel if a communication mishap happens, try to have a private message with the students, to help ensure the student feels comfortable and moves forward with online communicztion.
