So many awesome examples of the power of gratitude and positivity.

I definitely agree that opportunity to teach self efficacy is available in CTE programs.

SWOT is a great example of whole class and small group learning!

Teachers need to consistently provide multiple intelligence style lesson plan opportunities for all types of learners.  It is important to design a classroom layout which is conductive to learning.

Teachers need to model metacognitive processes, provide un-graded opportunities for productive talk, and support a community of learning.

The key to reaching all learners is to be mindful of the process and individually teach/assess each.

Good assessments are challenging, are without barriers, and encourage all types of learners to show what they've learned through multiple ways such as verbally, in writing, acting out, etc.

Teaching and learning only occurs once barriers have been removed.

Formative assessments are effective because they take place during the learning process whereas summative assessments are less impactful because they occur only after the learning or lack of has occurred.  Discussions and support can be created and administed during formative assessments.  Incorporating mastery mind sets are important, so that teachers are assuring all families that learning at the highest level is taking place with their students.

Computer literacy looks different for learners depending on their employment or field of study.  However, certain skills can be taught that are used across the board in the world of computers.  File management, research strategies, email, communications, detection of virus/threats are all very important skills.
