I learned When developing a rubric you are looking at content, clarity, usefulness and reliability.

I have learned that Planning a rubric has components.

I have learned that an Rubric need to be reliable, valid and fair.

 I learned that the rubric will provide the student with clear expectations of the expected outcome the instructors have to be diligent in updating them prior to using with a new class to ensure it correctly reflects the current student body and expected outcomes.

I lerned about the seven principles of good practice. It's a great reminder of things that instructors should do to help towards the students ablity to learn.

I found that an instructor needs to be Familiar with technology, tools, as well as diffent websites that are beneficial for the online learner.

I learned that Adult learners are more successful when they are given opportunities to apply their previous knowledge, skills and experiences to the course content. Also, Students that are able to interact with other classmates can solve problems together.

Ihave learned that Student motivation is the biggest factor in online success so praise early and often and make the first few assignments those they can easily accomplish.Also, It is essential to provide appropriate interventions to help students overcome certain disabilities or develop startegies to assist in the learning process.
