I think it is safe to say that tracking leads from start to finish is the achllies' heal for all educational institutions. How do you track your leads as close to 100% as possible? The link example, Campus2000, seems to be a great option but one would like to investigate as many as possible. Great points that we duly noted and used. I know talk regularly with students to see what social outlets they are using, how they are using them and review how my institution can become a valuable asset in these outlets. We no have a great social media department with incredible news and student related information and images posted regularly ... yes all engaging. Thanks!

I would like to say that this topic helped me in deciding to use special students that deserve recognition to be part of our institutions new infomercials. Many felt blessed that we would pick them for such an honor. We also picked exceptional students to be stylists to help prepare those on camera. Needless to say, those students also thanked us for inviting them and thanked us for the experience in a real life function. I will be making it a ritual of sorts for out students to be involved in our institutions infomercials ... for experience, student goals, etc.… >>>

Many great points stated. All I can say is that I will be reviewing the topics in this sections to see what our institution can put into play. One this is recording information. I believe in the power of information. We do not go a good enough job in recoding results, etc from our advertising and marketing efforts. Looking forward to using some of these topics in bring some light to our institution.

Hello All! Internet marketing to reach leads is nothing new. Companies far and wide invest in this medium to promote their businesses and they should. How to reach new customers is changing. It is becoming social. The TV age lasted over 50 years. Yes a long time. Companies spends million for creative advertising agencies to create new witty ads. But there is the problem. This is no east task when promoting your school via a myriad of social media outlets you may be required to promote within. I need to talk to teachers, admin reps, HR ... to identify great students to talk with and gave knowledge on to promote on the schools social media. (Among other events and functions the school conducts. Where does one start when all promotional material needs to be redesigned for consistence? Is the material to the point and able to stand alone? Is this material all the a prospect student needs to educate his or herself on the… >>>

The avenue I am spear heading is building public relations via social media outlets across 5+ campuses. Questions: What are some best practices to find those in the social media platform that may be interested in the services the school I am employed with offer? Once this 'prospect' is identified, an introduction and discussion of my schools services will be made. To introduce them to the value that X school can have on their career and/or life.
