The follow up email is a great practice Natasa. I know I certainly appreciate when I receive a summary email after a meeting to make sure we are all on the same page. Thank you for sharing! Dr. Jean Norris
That's true Pamela, a person can absolutely have both qualities. Would you say you lean more toward being a leader or a manager? Dr. Jean Norris
You bet! How do you know when to be the leader and when to be a manager? Dr. Jean Norris
This looks like a great conversation for a financial aid representative to have with a prospective students. I caution admissions professionals from having financial aid discussions beyond that it is available to those who qualify. Luc, how can you discuss tuition and build value for prospective students without diving too far into the FA conversation? Dr. Jean Norris
What kind of program are you thinking of Luc? Dr. Jean Norris
Can you give us an example of when you have used this approach with success? Dr. Jean Norris
You got it Huichi! I would even challenge you to dig a little deeper into that to determine what is the benefit of gaining "real-world" knowledge? Dr. Jean Norris
Great suggestion Luc, I like the partnership approach and asking a question that helps to determine how you can support the student is a good practice. Thanks for your post. Dr. Jean Norris
Thank you for your post Huichi. You bring up a challenge that many admissions professionals face, even those working at schools with Title IV funding options. Taking the time to build value with every student allows the opportunity to potentially outweigh the tuition challenge. What can you do to communicate value to your students? Dr. Jean Norris
