I'm curious what DOA's and admission trainers are doing out there to adapt their programs to be ethical AND effective.  Please share your ideas on what needs to change.

Ok...now I understand. It's an important skill to be able to "read" your associates preferences and understand how they like to receive motivation/feedback. Can I ask another question? How do the overall values and mission of your organization support what you need to be an effective leader?
This is a nice balance, Joe. It shows respect for the student sitting in front of you and I'm sure the person on the phone appreciates a call back the same day.
I like where you're going however this is a Yes/No question that perhaps could end the conversation quickly. What is your goal with asking this question, Joe?
Jennifer, it sounds as if you share the exact same concern as another person in the Forum. Can you provide more detail so that we can help you?
My guess is the student in front of you appreciates the dedicated attention. Is this your experience, too?
That's great, Joe! It's always nice to know the extra effort you put into connecting with another person on the phone is appreciated.
Very well said, Lynn! Yes, you need both managemement and leadreship skills to be most successful!
Very creative approach, Bernard! It certainly needs to stand out from the clutter of all the other calls the prospective student is receiving - especially those from web leads.
Very nice approach, Brenda. People can certainly feel the energy through the phone, can't they?
