Activity

David, thanks for sharing this. Modeling can be an effective tool when you want to show positive behavior. I'm curious, what have you done if a student doesn't follow your lead? Dr. Jean Norris
Lisa, practice makes perfect. Thanks for sharing your plan and let us know how it's working for you. Dr. Jean Norris
David, that is a great point and one I think is often missed. It is important to pass along any new regulations to all departments. Just because information is not new to you, it may be new to others. Keep it up. Dr. Jean Norris
Great point Tina. So I wonder, what specifically does it take to be an effective manager? Dr. Jean Norris
Interesting point Maria. What do you typically find out from these students? Dr. Jean Norris
Maria, that is a great idea. This will certainly allow them to feel like a real student and get that experience of working with the professors. They will also know a friendly face on their first day of class. Dr. Jean Norris
Maria, thanks for sharing these questions. It looks like you have questions that will explore the environment related to their program of choice. I wonder, what specifically are you trying to gather when asking these questions? Dr. Jean Norris
Thanks for sharing your thoughts here Maria. Product knowledge is important because the prospective students need to know the features and benefits of your school in particular. But, you also bring up the excellent point that students will also connect with you by the way you treat them. So this is telling me that people skills and attitude are also important. Dr. Jean Norris
Taneisha, absolutely. You bring up such a good point here. By allowing the student time to process their decision, you can ensure you are doing the ethical thing and partnering with them along the way. Dr. Jean Norris
Taneisha, it sounds like you have a good telephone personality. I'm curious, what specifically do you do in order to stay friendly and patient throughout the day? Dr. Jean Norris
