I've learned how important it is to not intrude after delegating a task, and how to recognize when I am doing this.

Good morning, this session is an eye opener for me.  I am noticing how the workforce is changing and new tactics are needed to meet these needs.  Through this class, I was able to test my curent skills and get more insight on how I can improvie.

Good evening everyone, for this session I learned that on site visits are not supposed to be scary, but rather an exchange of information through excellent communication.  I also learned what not to do.  I thought that being open and upfront in the exit interview would be the best route to take, but it seems it could make matters worse.  I do intend on implementing that strategy.

Good evening everyone, in this session, I was reminded on reviewing student files and employee files to make sure everything is up to date.  I plan on doing so in the upcoming days to make sure that all the files are following the same patterns and are not missing information.

Good evening, in this session I was reminded about the little common courtesies to make the on site visitors more comfortable.  I do intend to get my welcoming basket (pens, pencils, post-its, highlighters) ready for any type of on site visit.

Good evening, for this session I learned about the little details.  I never knew that could be a requirement to provide lunch for an accrediting agency.  I could see how this would be a nice gesture to make the visitor welcome, but I just figured that it could be seen as a bribe all across the board.  However, I do like the idea of offering to pick up a meal/order for the visitor, that does show genuine concern, hospitality, and is hard to interpret as a bribe.

Good afternoon everyone, I did enjoy this session, because it helped reinforce important skills that I need as an administrator.  One part that did stand out to me and I plan on implementing is making sure to saddress the potential student by their first name during a conversation.  I find some times potential students call just to get two or three questions answered, but now I will seize the opportunity to ask them their name, and how they heard about my school, just to build a relationship with them prior to sharing information.

Good afternoon everyone, just like many of you, I also face some challenges at my school.  Through this session, I am finding the worksheet useful to allow me to reflect and process what are some tactics I can implement to help me break down these challenges for the potential student.

For this session, I learned how to focus my presentation.  The worksheet was really helpful.  By having a plan of action within my presentation, I am able to give more vital information and make sure that I cover all important details.

This session was a very informative one.  It helped me understand how I can boost the value of my school, as well as the equation to think about when developing a plan of action to increase our program's value.
