In this training, I learned about a few new tools to use to assess leadership qualities.  I intend to use some of these assessments when interviewing individuals for a position.

Good evening, in this module, I learned that I am more of a visual learner.  I also learned how to create a positive atmosphere for creativity in meetings.  I plan on using some of these strategies in my next meeting to discuss admission retention for the fall.

Good evening, in this module, I learned a few new qualities about myself and my leadership abilities, as well as a few new statistics on higher education.  It was quite interesting.

In this module, I learned the importance of followers and the relationship between leaders, followers, and situations.

In this module, I realized that I am not alone in this.  Other leaders face similar challenges and I took a few good ideas on how to overcome these challenges.

On this topic, I learned about how to recognize burnout and how to cope with it.  I do intend to apply the suggested routine for 21 days.  I do believe that after 21 days it will become a habit and I look forward to it.

In this course, I learned a few new strategies to help deal with a crisis within and outside the classroom.  My favorite is "staying calm is contagious".  I never thought of this as a strategy, but it makes sense.  I plan on practicing some of the techniques that were provided, and believe it will help me manage my class and students better.

For this course, I've learned that there are several effective strategies that I could take to reach out to students.  I also learned that not every student will learn in the same way, so I need to have a variety in my classroom to grab each student's attention.  There are several methods that I was already using but did not realize it was an actual method and some that I plan on adding to my teaching toolbox to help me diversify my classroom.  

In this section, I learned about what are reasonable accommodations and what is not.  It also help me understand my role as an instructor as well as my role as an administrator.

In this section, I learned about ODD, I did not know it was an illness, nor did I know there was such a thing as OCD focused on personality.  With this new information, I plan on reading more on it to familiarize myself with it.  This way I can be more aware in the classroom and have a way to handle situations if they arise.
