Providing proper feedback to students is essential to increasing their knowledge.

Apply a variety of different techniques, tools, and approaches can help engage and reach as many srtudents as possible. 

Maintaing formats and templates current is an important component to presentation. 

I have experienced the noisy learner, and it can be very disruptive, unfortunately "mute" works even if just for a little while. Work overload is a big concern, instructors can fall into this very easily. 

I learned that synchronous discussions should not be used for large groups and to learn important course content. Students do prefer asynchronous, and tend to be more active and expressive while using asynchronous. But using asynchronous in the beginning can be challenging depending on age group, that goes without saying. 

It is just as important for the instructor to know about the students, as the students to know about the instructor. This creates an envirnment of transparency. Building a sense of bonding, so that the communication can open up and become more fluid. 

Making sure there is interaction between instructor and students during synchronous or asynchronous sessions is a key component. Attending to and understanding student needs and challenges will lead to increased students success rates. The instructor needs to have flexibility, compassion, and be accessible to the students.
