Service learning projects are great for students to learn skills, processes, and tasks that will be related to the workforce for the benefit of the community.

I am interested in attending an ISTE conference now.

Using technology to data gather is a useful area for preliminary and usually broad focused concepts. To refine technology data gathering, I find it useful for students to contact industry experts and ask questions based on their data research. 

Learning challenges refer to informational processing differences while learning preferences refer to preferred styles in learning.

Me encanta poder comunicarme con estudiantes que no hablan ingles en su idioma. Me cuesta entender todo, pero les ayuda a los estudiantes saber que puedo ayudarles si ellos no hablan ingles.

I think it is important to get to know students for who they are, and choosing to become. A lot of factors influence who we are and usually who and why we are choosing to become someone/thing.

Treat others as you would want to be treated. Be kind, and work to get to know your students- who they are and that sums up what I understood from this lesson.

When students see how the material applies to real-life situations, it not only makes the learning more engaging but also helps them recognize its value beyond the classroom. This connection can increase motivation and deepen understanding, since they can picture how the knowledge will benefit them in practical, meaningful ways.

The human factor is very important when using technology in the classroom, especially for online learning.

Gen Z tends to avoid memorization, often relying on Google or AI instead. While using technology as a tool—much like a spell checker—can be helpful, it raises the question of whether they truly understand the material. For example, is it still necessary for students to memorize long and complex formulas.
