Adult students tend to like eclectic styles of instruction and are more engaged with the class if the instruction is well presented and well thought out.

It is always best when a student asks for advise, to understand their needs and personal goals and tailor your advise to fit those.

Being a good listener as a teacher will promote a confidence in your students that you are interested, focused and willing to engage with them.

Technology students do not like to be thought of as customers. They need to be handled as learners, students who are there to acquire new skills and knowledge.

Preparing ahead of time for each class session will help you engage with the students better and allow you to have consistency in your instruction.

Adult students tend to want less mandatory study and more practical application than young students
