Activity

I have a hard time remembering the names of my students, so I am working really hard in this area. I will be using the strategy of writing notes after class on what worked and what did not work

Regardless of how my students act, I want to deal with it in a correct way. I want all of my students to know that they are in!

I loved this one!! I learned that I need to walk around my classroom to encourage those students who are not paying attention. I will also be adding some group discussion.

I enjoyed walking through this section, as it gave me words of encouragement that I am doing a good job as a new instructor. I do need to work on making sure I am following my own expectations that are in the syllabus.

It was nice to see how each test can be administered and how they affect learning.

I will be implementing the minute paper with my students. In addition, I think it is important to know your students so you can prepare how students will be engaged.

I learned from this module that students will be engaged with answering questions based on how the question is asked, how the instructor responds to the question, and how much the instructor expects. I think it is important to ask basic open-ended questions to start a discussion and keep the questions building upon each other.

I would like to use a learning style assessment on the first day of class so I can learn what types of students I have.

Since my classes are now online until Fall 2021, I have not had the chance to fully comprehend all that I can implement to ensure my students are learning in a virtual environment. The suggestions in this module will come in handy and I intend on applying at least a few of them in my spring semester.

How to incorporate successful learning techniques. I am going to work on using slideshare.
