FAQs is a Great Idea

I'm definitely going to use the idea of giving students an opportuniy to answer each others questions before I do.

I can post on Google Classroom a FAQ section for each assignment or students can just post Questions to the stream. Right now I am offering Zoom meetings for any 1-on-1 tutorials but was spending a lot of time with 1 or 2 out of 40 students. So, that means 38 students know how to do what these few don't, or atleast I can assume. So, if I give students extra credit for answering other students questions, then it saves… >>>

Literacy & learning

What kind of literacy skills? At what level? I mean I agree, I just want some specifics so we can have a discussion. I think students in my experience lack basic gramar, spelling, and punctuation skills. I'd say most of them are not at a College level Composition 101 class. Everyone should be at this point in 2019. We all write all day. Might as well learn how to write properly. I think reading and writing proper English will help with speaking properly. Not sure how you are going to read only perfectly written English grammar literature that isn't completely… >>>
