Activity

It is important to challenge students outside of their comfort zone for them to learn. 

As someone who was in the wilson reading program and had accomodating as a child, this reconated with me. 

ESL is a problem for me, but this section helped!

I sometimes put students in group for class work problems that are difficult.

Comment on Consuelo (Connie) Gill's post: This can have long term problems will syllabus changes however. As a math teacher I prefer a more dynamic score which forces the students to engage with percepts if you really want to understand their grade.  

Sometimes you need to mix things up for different types of students.
