There issue of time management with some of this, it sounds nice in theory, but there practically isn't enough class time for it. 

The multiple intelligences theory has not been supported by any actual scientific study.

True and false questions don't often have a place in mathematics as I need to see their process.

New generations need new methods, however syllibi cannot always accomodate. 

Its important to engage the students at their level. 

As a math teacher I don't have to worry about safety as much, however I teach inside the labs students use for their other fields so I have to keep it in mind. 

Rubrics can be helpful, but sometimes a more open ended approach is needed. 

I am actually pretty critical of the different learning styles theory, it doesn't have any imperical basis when you study it statistically.
