What kind of supports can be used from previous instructors?

You have to define particular objectives and not vague goals, the students must obtain them. 

You need to give a direction to your class or else if can go off course.

I learned to plan ahead. 

I teach multivariable equation solving with 3 different methods at once, it really keeps you on your toes. 

If you don't know their name, they won't know you.

Its important to consider time.
