I agree with everything he said but most importantly review the lesson plan and review it and commit it to memory.

I agree with knowing the content. That is my biggest concern. Of course knowing your students is very important but I think the students would put more emphasis on good content. I will know their names early of course

"Get to know your students." Less formal will make you more comfortable. "Arm yourself with Knowledge." "Be organized." "Use your lesson plans." "Be yourself, add your own experiences." Thanks for all your wisdom!
