Interactive Teaching

I would like to see/hear of the latest and greatest technology and trends that students seem to be reponding to within the online learning environment. My technique is to create videos and post them on youtube for my students. This is of course above and beyond the classroom. I may choose to provide video critiques for their Individual Projects so that they better understand what they need to work on and perhaps where they excel within any given program. I also provide extra links and references within my classes. I am asking you - what else can I contribute and incorporate into my classes that will make it more engaging?

I Love that idea!  Might you lead me to what you already have done on YouTube or wherever else you have them?  Thanks!

I have the students fill out flow charts on the board at the front of the classroom. There is a correlation with the students that can do this and those that can pass certification tests. It is easy to complete the charts using a book or lecture materials but real mastery comes with being put in the hot seat and displaying their knowledge.

I really enjoyed the knowledge that you can learn and gain in doing maxknowledge courses. As acosmetology instructor my job is to prepare and teach my students the proper way to take care of clients teaching them the dos and don'ts in the salon. Letting them know that i own my own salon and that one day they will get there too. taking the course ed-112 gave me the knowledge of influencing student motivation.
