I LOVED THIS COURSE! I TRY TO ENCOURAGE SO MANY DIFFERENT ACTIVE PARTICIPATION SKILLS WITH MY STUDENTS. THIS COURSE REALLY HELPS IDENTIFY AND OUTLINE DIFFERENT WAYS TO ENCOURAGE STUDENT PARTICIPATION AND DIFFERENT STRATEGIES AND RISKS INVOLVED IN CHANGING THE " LECTURE" FORM OF GIVING INFORMATION TO OUR STUDENTS
I might try that course out. I am getting tired of students posting responses that have no substance to them.
I JUST DID ANOTHER COURSE ON SOFT SKILLS- ED 115- IT REALLY CORRELATED WITH ACTIVE LISTENING. I FEEL THE COMBINATION OF THIESE 2 COURSES WILL REALLY ENHANCE THE PERFORMANCE OUTCOME OF MY STUDENTS.
ED111 really is a good course, especially for an instructor, like me, that is mostly used to lecturing first, then trying for student involvement second. There were many good ideas and thoughts to consider and to possibly implement in a gradual way over time.
