We begin today a forum to discuss holistic issues of teaching online as well as practical strategies to make the online experence better for both the student and the educator.  Our hope is to create an environment to ask questions, to share techniques and to streamline workload. 

The online learning space is what you want it to be!  As an educator, you define the perimeters and the expectations of the learning environment.  Currently, most of us teaching have not particpated in an online course.  What we know about learning in a classroom is assocated with a "brick" space not a "click" space.  One of the best ways to improve teaching in an online course is to be a student in an online course.  When you are taking the online courses through MaxKnowledge, take a few moments to evaluate the experience as the online student and reflect on the experience to improve your teaching in your own online course.  Be critical about what you found effective and what you found confusing.  Use your experiences as an online student to improve your teaching in an online course.
