In the Automotive industry technology is constantly changing, so as instructors we need to constantly keep up to date. Constant training in our field is a must, if we are to convey current knowledge to our students.

I think that with technology advancing so quickly and being used for a multitude of reasons, all industries are changing constantly.  It is always a good idea for people and professors to continue learning.

I am in the fashion industry and by definition fashion has always been about change. Technology has now taken over what was originally a hands on profession and the changes are constant not only in the product itself but the way they are produced. Instructors have to keep on top of these changes and encourage their students to do the same.

 

The more technology becomes the norm in the workplace, the more important training students in the use of technology adequately and not just for entertainment is necessary. All classrooms should employ the use of technology to connect and instruct when possible.
