Time Management

The Time Management Course helped me a lot to prioritize my daily work goals. I find it hard to juggle some of my responsibilities and have decided to use the skills to help me gain more control of my work day.

Maing a list of things to do on a daily basis has been helpful in time mangement for me. I make sure i cross out the do things from the list once completed. It gives you a sense of acclomplishments

I have and is still learning how time management is KEY! in all areas os life. It is best to prioritize projects and assignmetns by importance, and eliminate busy work that does not account for anything. In careers and jobs, we mus always consider what the company is requiring of us and make that priority. If we handle that business first everything else will flow. I have completed one training today, now my course load and extra-curricular activities will flow very well the rest of the  today!

Maybe that should be my next course. I have found I have had to go to a structured calendar in three week increments to ensure all of my operations goals are met.

The best practice here is to delegate time and a half for any task--this gives you a buffer zone if a particular task takes longer than anticipated.

I welcome any input!

Dan: if you would please, tell me more about the calendar in 3 week increments ...is that a running 3 weeks that is updated every week to incorporate changes (similar to weekly construction project management meetings that revise tasks/timelines and thus map out the next 3 weeks?)
