ED105: Instructional Planning for Student Success

I just completed ED105 and found it quite helpful in coming up with methods for grading and delivering course content.  There were a few ideas that I hadn't considered and some explanations (especially about evaluations and grading) that were really helpful in understanding why we grade or do things in a certain way.

I found the section on Extra Credit helpful. I have used extra credit and had students achieving 107% and others who were able to pass without doing other assignments. I now need to re-assess this and have an explaination for  why the extra credit it not raising their grades to pass.

I just completed the ED105 course.  I found several good ideas to incorporate into my instructional plans.  1) a pretest to help identify students that are entering my Chemistry course underprepared in Math.  2) good ideas about how to use extra credit opportunities.
