Learning critical thinking and leadership skills are important for the career success of students.
All students should be exposed to leadership skills. They may not need them in the class, but they will need them in life.
This is a helpful reminder on the role of leadership in our students lives
Making things happen. I intend to use the 3 questions...
- Where are we going?
- How are we going to get there?
- What is my role?
This would be a great starting point for the students to start to create a path to their career goal of choice.
I learned that effective leadership is about guiding with vision, supporting others, and setting an example through actions. I plan to apply this by encouraging collaboration, recognizing contributions, and leading with integrity in both professional and personal settings.
Failure increases knowledge and awareness to navigate those difficult times that will occur. Failure can truly serve as an essential component to help shape leaders to be more successful.
Leadership involves influence, learning from failure, and embracing diverse perspectives. I’ll use group work, advisor feedback, and reflection to help students grow.
Having students in leadership roles allows them to grow confidents in themselves and with the work they are doing as well when working with others or one on ones on a team too

The leader must have skills such as vision, good communication skills, ability to motivate, and adaptability. Effective leaders demonstrate integrity, self awareness, and the capacity to build trust and inspire their teams.
Leadership and personal growth opportunities are important for students in CTE.
Allowing for leadership roles in a Career and Technical Education (CTE) classroom is essential for student growth because it provides opportunities for students to develop critical skills that prepare them for both professional and personal success. Particularly in emulating expected softs skills (decision-making, project management, and team coordination) in real world scenarios as Leadership roles mimic workplace structures, helping students understand how to function effectively in professional environments.
Leadership is in every profession. Having leadership skills are imperative and help develop character and critical thinking skills

Comment on Randy Morris's post: Hola Randy el tema de liderazgo es muy estudiado y se han determinado desde principios hasta tipos de liderazgo y hay revistas que promueven este amplio campo de liderazgo, así como también aún en los periódicos que no se dedican únicamente a ellas también tocan este tema https://www.nytimes.com/es/2024/09/26/espanol/estados-unidos/republicanos-colegio-electoral.html, este tema es de mucha importancia a nivel global.

Que importante es saber que no sabes, sin embargo es reconocer y estar atento a escuchar propuestas que pueden ayudarte a abalizar, sintetizar y tomar las decisiones mas sabias en ese entorno, en forma que todos participen y recuerda a tus asesores, que siempre están allí para darte la confianza y participar en ese análisis para tener lo mejor para el equipo de trabajo.
Hay tanto que decir y trabajar sobre liderazgo, pero creo que es trascendental el reconocer que nos falta conocimiento cuando es así, y la honestidad no es debilidad sino una fortaleza que todo líder lo debe de poseer.

Qué impactante tu frase Kathryn, y es contundente, por el fracaso es parte de la vida y de tu aprendizaje, te genera la capacidad de resiliencia y eso es liderazgo, te vuelve perseverante y disciplinado para poder encontrar cual fue el punto de quiebre y encontrar la fórmula para poder desarrollarlo nuevamente, te permite establecer el conflicto cognitivo, la habilidad precedente del hombre que lo distingue en las especies, y eso también es liderazgo.
Muy apropiado tu pensamiento porque promueve la búsqueda de los grandes aciertos científicos como sociales y encumbra a diferentes líderes en el mundo que son ahora nuestros ejemplos como Thomas Edison, en nuestro país tenemos a un gran innovador culinario Gastón Acurio quién no le fue bien con el derecho, pero si nos encumbra con su gastronomía. Comment on Michael Tillman's post: Muy acertada tu opinión Michael, es parte del aprendizaje estudiar a tu futuro empleador, y si recuerdo bien lo dice la revistas Forbes donde describe los grandes líderes sus éxitos y también sus desaciertos, con el propósito degenerar en sus lectores opiniones divergentes que le permitan tomar una decisión ya sea esta política, comercial, ambiental o económica.

Muy buenos días a la comunidad docente; he aprendido que todo líder inspira, organiza, dirige y promueve cambios, y son habilidades que puedes desarrollarlas o recrearlas, desaprender y volver a aprender, porque vamos actuando de acuerdo a los momentos que trascienden en nuestra vida, sin embargo los principios éticos, la empatía y la solidaridad eso no cambia, pero las habilidades de pensamiento crítico para la toma de decisiones es si es cambiante de acuerdo al escenario y también de acuerdo a los principios éticos que te rigen.
Los debo aplicar en cada clase organizadamente mediante debates sincrónicos y también en foros abiertos donde la oportunidad de revisar la capacidad de investigación y el pensamiento critico sean las tareas que orientan el foro.
Cada día aprendemos algo nuevo o reaprendemos lo que se habia guardado en la memoria, gracias por esta oportunidad de compartir con todos ustedes.
