Which means it's not concerning the basics skills, but the more advanced, and unfamiliar ways of approaching and learning new tasks. We, as instructors sometimes forget what we didn't know before. We must conceptualize the meaning of what we want students to learn and practice.

I wish students knew to report learning challenges earlier, but I also want to be the kind of instructor who notices and supports different learning preferences and styles to lessen the possible burden on students with learning challenges if I can. I also want to consider more ways of make instruction interactive and applied rather than lecture and other passive forms, which research shows is not as beneficial for the student.
The learning preferences state here are different than the normative VARK, which has been outdated for years. I was glad to see the different take on this. Also, I will use the portfolio concept, not normally a project for ADN.
