Not happy about how this test is set up

Being informed early allow for a quick response whether it is a disaster or emergency situations. We all can benefit if advance warning are in place. There are many incidents that student are in jeopardy of injuries on danger where the benefit of knowledge can prevent tragic outcomes.  Early warning are strategic in reducing negative outcomes.

I found this information interesting and important to understand, as I have lots of PSEO students in my classrooms. I am wondering if anyone has had any issues with parents of PSEO students? Also, I have had parents of adult (older than 18) call much more in the past few years than ever before. Have you seen an increase in this "helicopter" parenting style with students?

In this module we learned the importance of the resources and how they influence our institution and the service that we provide.

During the module I learned a great deal about the role that advertising and marketing assists the admissions process and influence. The importance of branding and representation for an institution of higher learning. 

I have learned that the Admissions role is very influential, and it is important that in this role that we keep our resources and information up to date and accurate for the potential students. 

Compliance is important in any organization to ensure employees are informed and accountable in their everyday practices and interactions.

I have worked in Healthcare for many years. FERPA is similar to HIPAA in the dental office. You do not talk to others about a patients information the same as you would not talk to others about a students grades or information. If there is documentation that it is ok to disclose information, then it can be discussed to only that person with the proper documentation. 

It is extremely important that the student is aware of what is expected from him/her in the legal agreement. This is a binding contract and can't be completed until all the sections are filled and supporting documents are attached as well.  The brochure has to have all the components that are required to have. I have to make sure everything is clear and the students has all the information and tools that the institution offer them. It's great to be prepared for any kind of questions in the interview.

What I've learned so far is that there's a lot responsibility to find the right candidates that will fit the needs of the students and institution. Learning the regulations, rules and statues are important to stay in compliance with The Florida Commission for Independent Education.  Continuing education is also part of the job to stay up to date with changes and even to refresh the memory with the admission process.

when you are up to date on policies and make sure that things are compliant your job is more understandable and can help you get better results 

A lot of great information i learned that there is much more advertising needed for school than i ever expected.

I really enjoyed reading this module. I learned that keeping a resource notebook is a great way to stay organized, as well with assisting me with my daily duties. I loved all of the tips and I will be utilizing them. I think having a notebook handy with all the information is extremely helpful.
