Supervision techniques

It helps to learn form all the managers you have worked with and incorporate some of those techniques in your style of management. If you can look at your own skillset and objectively assess your strengths and weaknesses, you can benefit by seeing how others have handled the areas where you need improvement.

Learning from previous experiences of others aids in developing your own skill set and helps in furthering your own goals and achievements.

I agree. I've worked with a lot of really great managers. When I'm in a situation I'm unsure of, I always try to remember how they used to handle it. I always talk to my supervisor and ask her opinions and suggestions. Learning from her has been great and I can't wait to learn more from others
