Besides prioritizing, what are other ways to avoid overwhelming during a task?

I’m no expert, but I have found taking a break from the “project” can certainly help clear your mind from the situation even if it’s only for a brief moment. Sometimes, I take a short walk outside or to another area of the office, other times I shut my office door, close the blinds, shut off the lights and sit with my eyes close concentrating solely on my breathing - I found that a quick five minutes of meditation can put me back up and running again. This doesn’t work for everyone, but it certainly can’t hurt to try it. Good luck.

TIME-MANAGEMENT!! If you can get a good knowledge of how to manage your time... it would help so so so much!!

Knowing the subject matter inside and out helps maintain a solid footing when time is an issue.
