I understand it is important to keep the students engaged and for them not to procrastinate... I love the suggestions, but sometimes I feel that we are adults and they need to be accountable for their work. Nursing is a rewarding career and one who wants to bring care to the community is already motivated personally. I like the idea of putting out reminders for those of us who are taking on a lot when it comes to personal distractions.

I will offer better communication for better understanding and learning.

Organization to the online classroom is important for student success. When directions and assignments are clear and proper communication is present students have better outcomes. Clear, concise information equals less confusion and fewer questions when it comes to asynchronous learning.

As an instructor, it is imperative to evaluate the tools used in technology. Making sure the tool is effective and that the student is not only learning but is engaged in active learning. This will also help the student develop critical thinking skills.

Feedback from multiple sources will help to improve the quality of one's course. It is important to remember that students are consumers and we want them to be satisfied with their learning experience.

Appropriate and timely feedback is necessary for students to know and understand what they did right and what they did wrong. This way they can see where they need to improve. Plus positive reinforcements help students confidence. 

The word scaffolding. This is new to me, not the definition, that is always the main objective. but the word itself.
